Alpakka Kafka 2.0.0 milestone released

Dear hakkers,

We’re happy to announce a milestone on the way to Alpakka Kafka 2.0!

The Alpakka Kafka 2.0 series features

  • upgrade to Kafka client 2.4.0 (this milestone used Apache Kafka 2.4.0-RC1)
  • Producer.committableSink behaves as a combination of Producer.flexiFlow and Committer.sink , but has a special-purpose implementation
  • built-in Akka Discovery support
  • More versatile use of Testcontainers in Alpakka Kafka Testkit

This milestone is called 2.0.0-M2 for “technical reasons” and you find the release notes in the documentation.
