# Akka Persistence Couchbase 1.0 released

Dear Hakkers,

Today we are pleased to announce the stable 1.0 release of Akka Persistence Couchbase, allowing to use Akka Persistence with the [Couchbase](https://www.couchbase.com) database as the backend.

The plugin includes complete support for journal, queries and snapshots and includes support for Lagom 1.5.
